Overview
Counselors in Training will work alongside the Senior Counselors during our program camp sessions to care for campers’ safety, growth, and well-being. They will spiritually lead campers through encouragement, fun, teaching, and service. This summer at Eagle Sky, we are offering two program camps in July. During these two program camp sessions, CITs will lead their campers in daily Biblical devotions and direct their campers’ schedules. They will seek to make camp memorable and growth-filled through creative and unique experiences. They will be staying in the cabin for the duration of the session.
Benefits
CITs will have daily devotionals led by the lead counselors. They will also gain insight into the role of a counselor. CITs will have the opportunity to pour into the lives of our kid campers.
Session Dates
- Session 1 – July 13th – 18th
- Session 2 – July 20th – 25th
CITs must report to camp by 10:00 am on the session start date. This is to allow time for training and moving into their assigned cabin. CITs will be released from their duties at 10:30 am and must be picked up before 12:30 pm on the last day of their working session. *You may choose to work up to two sessions. We highly encourage CITs to attend a week of our Teen Program camp.
Requirements
- Must be 15-17 years old.
